YouTube Insight – Video Analytics
Interesting post about YouTube Insight at the Google Blog.
Go into My account -> Videos, Favorites, Playlists -> Manage my Videos. Then click the “About this Video” button.
You’ll be able to see how often your video is viewed in different geographic regions. You’ll also be able to see details of the lifecycle, such as how long it takes your vids to become popular and hit peak for views.
If you’re using video for business or marketing concepts, take a minute to wrap your brain around the power of that kind of information. You’re welcome.
As a side note, some of the comments on the YouTube blog are interesting.

Well, according to the Youtube video I’ve linked to above, at least some video marketers are VERY happy with the appearance of Insight – they may be reading too much into it though…
